I took my mom on this four-night cruise on the Carnival Paradise as a birthday present. It was the first cruise for both of us, and it has forever made us cruise addicts! We had a fantastic time from start to finish.

The room was extremely comfortable and cozy (in a good way), and I was glad I had splurged a bit on a room with a window. The window was huge and it was beautiful to wake up at each port and see what was outside! I LOVED the free 24-hour room service; we took advantage each night by having dessert delivered late and trying EVERYTHING that was offered.

Speaking of the food, it was so great! The dining room dinner was delicious, and we loved the 24-hour frozen yogurt and pizza in the cafeteria-style room. The food for lunch was pretty good, too. We were never hungry. Our only complaint was that we wanted free espresso, but you can't have everything!
