Lots of highlights -- it was a wonderful cruise.
First of all - the service (one exception described below in MDR) was great. We had one small problem in the cabin which was fixed and then a bottle of champagne showed up. Personnel tried very hard to please & make everything right.
Entertainment was super. Musical director Ian Brock led with musicians, singers & dancers top notch. Not usually a fan of production shows but we loved ovations, edge and don't miss the Motown show & dancing on the pool deck, great fun. Lectures by Gid Poole re comedy improv & standup were good as was the "fish" lecture. The 2 chef contests/battles were so funny -- hard to believe they aren't comedians. Late night comedy by Al Duscharme hilarious & surprisingly clean for late-night comedy. You don't have to be dirty to be funny. We went to one game show with the cruise director, Paul -- also fun. Caught a bit of the strings - good musicians also.
6169 - Partially obstructed balcony. I heard tv, people talking but am very light sleeper. Husband heard nothing. Deck above smoking section but not directly so couldn't tell if noise came from deck below or close by cabin. Otherwise, cabin in nice location - obstruction was only looking directly down.
