I was very wary about taking this cruise because I had read so many negative reviews. The negativity was never about Hawaii itself and I agree whole-heartedly. Hawaii is one of the most special places in the world, and this cruise is a great way to sample a lot of it without unpacking. The ports were located close to the airports and it was very easy to get a rental car. A couple of the ports we just walked to nearby attractions.

But more importantly, I wanted to give my impression of the ship. It is an all-American staff and I had read that many people had bad experiences. I was prepared for this, but was so pleasantly surprised! From the second we stepped on the ship we were greeted by hard-working and extremely pleasant staff. They really went out of their way to provide great service. Our cabin attendant was the best I've ever had out of 4 different cruises! No matter whether we were at the front desk, in the dining rooms, bars, or just getting on and off the the ship, everyone was wonderful.

Furthermore I thought the ship was very clean and modern. The food was as good as any other cruises I've been on. I LOVE how concerned they are about illness with attendants at each of the dining entrances with antibacterial spray for your hands.
