We have done eight previous cruises in different lines so I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable about cruises, ships ,etc.. wrong,... read the reviews by Cruise Critic carefully so you can pick wisely. But a word of caution, things continuously change and not always for the better.

The Carnival Victory is a very large ship and very full of people. It was loud and congested all the time. The only quiet space we found was in our cabin. There were lines everywhere.

But let's start by the beginning. Parking for your car, if you drive there, is not 70 dollars a week as they tell you, it's 84 and cash, no other way or place to park so have them in your pocket. Once inside the terminal the lines started and they continued for the next seven days. About one and a half hours to go thru to process.
