Have only had one prior cruise on Carnival Glory for seven nights. Would much prefer seven nights - five was a bit too short.
Room layout better on Carnival. There were two of us, but we always seemed to both be in the hallway, and one had to back up. Washroom was great - shower was tiled and quite spacious, and the water didn't run out. Beds were hard - had to sleep with pillows underneathe us. Balcony door closed much nicer than on Carnival - very smooth patio sliding door, vs swinging out. Noise level from room next door could be heard though, including TV and conversation at times. That was quite frustrating.
Food was very good, and seemed healthier than Carnival. Breakfast included omelette and poached egg stations, American breakfast, Asian breakfast (tofu stew, bok choy etc), fruits, cheeses etc. Quite a nice breakfast.
