In the email we received from Princess we were asked to arrive at the port after 2:00 p.m. We arrived shortly after that time by cab and were impressed with the service. The baggage handlers took the luggage out of the cab and by the time we checked in and arrived in our room, a 45 minute process, the bags were already there. The check-in was prompt and efficient.

We chose anytime dining and always asked to have a table on our own. We did not have to wait and our wish was granted. The waiters were always very pleasant and the food was delicious. We ate at the two restaurants with the $20.00 service charge two evenings. The food at both places was excellent. We were a little disappointed with the decor and ambiance at the Sterling Steak house but had no complaints about either the food or service. We were much more impressed with Sabitini's. We had a lot of courses to eat our way through at that dinner but we managed to roll ourselves back to the room after dinner. We ordered room service two of the mornings when we had early tours and that was delivered efficiently at the time we requested. We ate breakfast in the dining room as we like to be served. We only ate lunch in the buffet on two occasions but found the food excellent.

Our cabin steward was very efficient and our room was cleaned the sea days while we were at breakfast. When we came back after dinner our bed was turned down and the chocolate on the pillow. He was very pleasant as were all the cabin stewards we met in the hallways.

Cabin Review

Cabin AA

tiny bathroom but great closet space. the room had been occuped by a smoker and we asked the room steward if he could do something about it. He did as the next night we did not have a problem. We wish Princess would have cabins allocated to smokers only as we are allergic to smoke.
