Port of Tampa
I will start out with the port. Tampa was very easy to navigate and we used the port's valet service. We pulled in, handed them our bags and car, and away we went. There is a counter clearly marked "Valet" and you pay them $70. I used cash, I don't know if they take credit or not. The vehicles are not parked in the garage but rather a secured, fenced lot separate from the garage next to where the ship docks.
Check in
Cabin 8580
Our cabin opened up around 2:30 so we headed downstairs. Our bags were already at the cabin door. Our room was very nice and clean. I ordered the birthday decorations and they were up and waiting. $31 is a little much for them but it's the idea of your significant other walking into the surprise that makes it worth it. The cabin was roomier than expected with the exception of the shower WOW! It is really small but I guess that's normal for what I'm told. The cabin had lots of closet space and a mini bar under the television that we did not discover until we were leaving the ship on the last day. Balcony was not huge but big enough for two chairs and a table. Lambert, our stateroom attendant, was absolutely wonderful. After unpacking we headed out to get a bite to eat.
