This cruise was over the MLK weekend, Jan 14-17, 2011, to Ensenada, r/t Long Beach. This was our (wife and I) 7th cruise, 3rd on Carnival. From various review sources, we had an idea about the cruise. We have not been on a cruise of less than 7 days. This cruise was fun and the party was definitely on!!

We flew in from Phx via US Air to Long Beach. Arrived around noonish, grabbed a cab ($30), cruise terminal 12:30 ish, security (10 min), check-in (10 min), photos and on board by 1pm. Went by our cabin and met our steward Anton. Took very good care of us for the 3 days.

Speaking of the cabin, oceanview, deck 5 (main), comfortable for 2. Odd placement of a storage/table in the corner which meant one of us ;) was climbing over to get in-out of bed. One outlet in bedroom and one in the bathroom (didn't work). Large shower, no tub, plenty of room and nice amenities.

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

Good location, odd location of table/storage in corner. Outside, in hallway, between this and the next cabin, is some type of storage closet. You will hear the stewards accessing, well closing, the closet.
