I just cruised on the Elation to Cozumel and was scheduled to go to Calica. We arrived in Cazumel 6 hours late because of propulsion problems. This put us in around 2:00 pm instead of 8:00 am as scheduled. This gave only a few hours of daylight to enjoy the island. We were advised that since we arrived late that the time at port would be extended until 9:30 pm instead of 6 pm. Later we were told that we were waiting on an technician to arrive to help with the propulsion problem which made us leaving port around 11:30 PM and was told that we would not be making our second port of call.

The next day we got memo stating that we would be getting a credit of $50.00 a person and a $22.25 refund for taxes not having to be paid because we did not go to Calica.

I am very disappointed in this as an reimbursement because of probems with the ship. If this would have been a problem because of weather causing us not to be able to make port I would understand but to say missing a port and getting only a few daylight hours is just worth $50.00 in my opinion is telling everyone that they do not care about people just making a dollar even though it was their problem.
