This was my family's second cruise and after reading many mixed reviews, we decided to keep an open mind. We embarked in Bari rather than Venice as this was our choice. We found that experience very smooth and painless. As soon as we boarded we were allowed to have lunch at the buffet and after a couple of hours we were on our way.

Unfortunately, the weather was against us and we were unable to visit some of the ports on our itinerary, Rhodes, Cypress, Dubrovnik. However we did visit Marmaris in Turkey (which was lovely) as alternative to Rhodes. This was disappointing as we spent a lot more time on board than expected.

Probably the main disappointment of the cruise was the short amount of time spent at each port. I believe this was due to the unforeseen circumstances of the bad weather and the change to the itinerary.
