Was on the Norwegian Sky three night cruise January 7-10, 2011. This was a nice cruise. Service and food were generally good. The Sky is a good size ship - large enough to have multiple restaurants and activities but not as big as the new mega ships. I like the freestyle dining option - it worked well to not have a fixed dining time. I also prefer not to be in a suit each night; though some take the casual thing a bit too far. Ate at Le Bistro one night - great food, but the service wasn't great - server should be knowledgeable about the food and wine options. Lunch options could be improved - mostly hot dogs and hamburgers.

Stop at Great Stirrup Cay was nice. It is undergoing construction and looks like it will be pretty nice when they are done. For now, pretty basic. I liked how it was divided into several areas so you could be close to the band and activities or a bit farther away if you prefer. A pretty long line for the tender at 10:00 - line stretched down the hallway blocking many doors for about 30 minutes - but tenders were high capacity so the line cleared pretty fast once they started loading.

Comedian Rich Purpura and Not So Newlywed game were in the main theater. On the Sky, this is a two story theater more like a big lounge with comfortable chairs. Capacity was great for the shows - more comfortable than a regular theater and with enough room for everyone compared to a smaller lounge. Entertainment was OK. Also had the band Harmony and Rhythm who are pretty good. Caribbean Plus was the poolside band. They were way too loud both by the pool and at Great Stirrup Cay - I would have preferred a good steel drum band for poolside.
