This was our 2nd cruise on Ecstasy in 2 months; actually after the last one, we knew we never wanted to cruise this ship again, but our kids wanted to go. This time, however, we noticed a definite decline in service. We went to the dining room 2 nights - on the first night, we had to ask for iced tea; on elegant night, we never got tea or were able to catch our server long enough to ask for it. The wait time between courses was so long, we just left before dessert. In fact, we sat 20 minutes after our main course and were never even brought the dessert menu. The food was disappointing/definitely not as good as any corner restaurant and the service was the worst I've ever had in 6 cruises. We ordered bloody Mary's one morning - ICK! the worst ever, so they were sent back for credit.

It was uncomfortably cool everywhere on the ship. I understand that they don't have a heat system, but the problem appears to be excessive air conditioning. I was able to warm my cabin by opening the drapes and using my blow dryer!

We don't go into the casino because of the smoke, but did play bingo 4 or 5 times. One girl called the numbers so fast, it was actually stressful to try to keep up with her! Read more
