Being over New Year's seemed fun. The Carnival Sensation was the ship. Sailing out of Port Canaveral. Port Canaveral is a 30 minute drive from our home. I dropped off the family at drop off area and went to park the car. It was a short walk back to the terminal. We went through security then up to get our sail & sign cards. Then about five minute wait to get our boarding photo and board the ship. Less than 30 minutes to board. Good to get there early. We were on board by 11:00 AM.

Then it was up to the Lido deck to eat. Most people walked up to the first buffet nearest the pool. We walked past that to the next buffet and past that was the pizza and sandwich station. The food was good and all you may want.

The Sensation is one of the Fantasy class ships. Like the other Fantasy class ships it had had many upgrades in dry dock. They added some balcony cabins and the water works with a couple of water slides.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6E

Plenty of room for three people. Had more storage space than we needed. Heard no more noise than you would expect. Close to two elevators was a plus. A good deck to have a cabin on.
