I am not a seasoned cruiser, and this was a great oppty for me to get away with my entire family, parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews. We had great family time, and for that the trip was great. However I may never again take another cruise. They call this "freestyle cruising?", well nothing about this trip is free. You cannot move two inches on the ship without someone trying to sell you something, bingo cards, raffles, drinks(the same cost as the Ritz), bottles of champagne. I think they are on some sort of commission program.

However try and get someone to clear a plate or try and find some water?

The free restaurants were always booked for dinner at any reasonable hour, so that you would have to go to the specialty restaurants, which of course had an extra cover charge. I think the average family left with an extra 1500 to 2k bill for their trip, especially if they have kids.
