We sailed on Carnival Destiny Dec 4 2010. We went out of Miami with stops at Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. We were blessed with great weather. The ship didn't rock at all, even though there were some whitecaps visible at sea. The last night the wind was up and we were busting through some 7 foot waves, but the ship was very calm. You can't actually walk around the ship on any deck, which was a little different, but we had no problem getting enough walking to counteract all the food. There is a 1/10 mi jogging track on deck 10 and treadmills/ elliptical machines for free in the spa.

We had a balcony room and it was great, the balcony had 2 chairs and a small table, makes a nice option if you just want a quiet place to get away during the day and read a book. Our cabin steward TJ was great, attentive but never seen. We ate in the Universe main dining room most nights and the food was very good. There is a crew of about 1,000, and maybe 3,000 cruisers, so a lot of crew. The main dining room was about 70% full on elegant night, other than that about 40 to 50%, so we had very good service, and were able to avoid the buffet lines.

In Ocho Rios we booked the Dunns River Falls climb and Dolphin Cove ultimate beach break. The Falls was great, we had a blast. They have an excellent guide (we had Oliver) and a photographer with each group, so you can buy a video afterwards if you like. The 2 guides definitely get you involved and having fun. Carnival also has a photographer in the falls for some couples or group photos that you can buy on board later. The Dolphin cove was a nice little beach, they had burgers and salad and free beer and sodas, and it was shady so you don't roast in the sun. There are shops and you can watch the dolphin show.

6305 - No complaints, TJ was excellent, 5 stars. Bed was very comfortable, we want to get that metal bed frame and ditch our box spring at home. Really nothing to complain about. very clean.
