Ok, here we go.

This is our 17th cruise, 4th time on Voyager, Diamond status. We stayed in JS 1328 for the 3rd time. Deck 10, midship, at the end of the hump. We love the location.

Boarding was a little late. Nothing horrid. We stood in line outside the building for about 30 minutes or so - opened the doors up around 11:15. Once they did that, moving through security was great. No line in the Suite/Diamond section so we were sitting amidst others, including a wedding party. The champagne was not out. We had friends behind us in line so we waited for them and waited for them - then we saw that they were boarding through the general boarding area. WTH? As Mr Wolf pressed his face against the glass - I asked a port agent when we would baord - it was 11:40. She said noon. I pointed out to her that people in general boarding were already going onboard while the folks who should be boarding first were sitting there. I was nice about it - I hate seeing people berating those port folks, so since there was obviously a communications snafu, we grabbed our carryons and walked down to general boarding and got onboard. We went straight to Windjammer - love being the crowd. Other than a snack and a quick lunch later in the week, this was our only WJ venture. The food was fine. We then headed to the Pool Bar to be reunited with our favorite bartender Oldemar. One of the real pleasures of being able to cruise the same ship is getting to know the staff. We recognized many crew members and many would at least remember our faces, if not our names. We felt this way about Rhapsody and now Voyager. It's very bittersweet knowing that the ship is doing its last Galveston season. Sailaway was late - well over an hour. Not sure why but it seems to be quite common - I don't think we have had a "real" sailaway on Voyager. Also - since early dinner is at 5, a large portion of the ship is missing from the deck.

Excellent location close to elevator. No noise issues. Just aft of hump.
