We were contacted on a Friday afternoon in Junes by a sweepstakes agent that said we won a cruise and that we would have to sign an affidavit with soc., and a lot of other info, have it notarized and faxed back within 36 hours. Of course we thought it was a scam and my wife hung up. They called back and assured us that this was not a scam. I spent the whole weekend looking up E-Prize, the company that contacted us and who handled this sweepstakes for Celebrity. Finally confirmed with Celebrity on Monday that it was true. She won 1st place which was either the Solstice or Eclipse Eastern or Western Caribbean. We had been on the Solstice in Feb 10, so we decided to do the Western on the Eclipse.

We went down a day early and stayed in South Beach at the Z-hotel. Kind of a swanky hotel that is no way worth the $500+ a night price tag (we used points so it was well worth that.) Great location for walking around though. Just don't go to the bar just outside the lobby - $22 for 2 budlights.

Our room was 1626. My wife and I thought this was a fantastic location. It was 1 floor up to the pool and 2 floors directly up to the cafeteria. I'd book AQ just for this location. AQ- The only reason to book this is for the location and for Blu. Blu was a nice intimate dinner. I cannot rave enough about the matradee - Adrian and our waiter and assistant - O'neal and Anna. Adrian sat us in same private table every night. Couldn't ask for better service, soups and salads. The main entrees need a little work though. The one that really left me at a loss was warm lobster tails with cold mandarin orange butter. They can do better. This was much nicer though than being in the Moonlight Sonata.
