Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

This was our first cruise and we waited a long time for it to come around. We celebrated our honeymoon and we are a lot younger than typical cruisers! We expected a lot of elderly people to be on board but we were quite suprised to find there was a mix of ages. There were a lot of passengers who seemed to think they were better than everyone else and looked down on many people but we found a lot of people were also very friendly.

Our stateroom was comfortable, altho our balcony light did not work for the whole of the cruise. I reported this to our cabin steward but nothing was done so I reported it to reception who told me they had a shortage of light bulbs.

The food in the Glasshouse was amazing, although you had to pay a charge for this its well worth it. We did not eat in Seventeen or Sindhu. The buffet breakfast is very good and plenty of choice. Although lunch got a bit reptitive. The coral grill and pizzeria serves nice tasty snacks. We were on freedom dining which meant we could eat when we wanted in the Merdian restaurant. We never found this a problem, the most we had to wait was 15 mins for our table of two. The food in there was lovely and the waiters would always do what they could to accomadate you.

A bit noisy when they had late entertainment on the top deck!
