This is our second cruise with NCL and overall we had a good time. We couldn't help comparing with our first holiday and the main comparisons were:

Food Staff seemed very shy or aloof, some were friendly but only after you made a real effort to engage them. One in particular from the La Trattoria was down right rude and there were many comments about him from other diners. Just a couple of the staff gave the same level of outgoing and friendly service. We made sure to list them.

Food - we were pleased with the food and service at both the Aqua and Versailles restaurants. The specialty restaurants we did not frequent because we felt that we should not have to pay to participate. Discussions with other passengers found that the travellers were about 50 / 50 on that subject, some resented having to pay extra as most people felt they had already paid a good price for the ticket and others were lined up to make reservations and feel exclusive. The Market Cafe was OK but with the main corridors of the ship running through it, it quickly was congested and could have been a safety issue. I did like the sanitization program they had in place.
