Checking in at Miami was most efficient. We got on at around noon, and got a taste of the Island Cafe buffet. The layout is very spacious, with multiple stations so the wait for anything is never long. I like the five different choices of egg Benedict prepared to order for breakfast, for example Scottish style with smoked salmon and fish roes. Water, juice, coffee and tea are available 24 hours.

We enjoyed meeting the couples at the 8 person table for our early dinner seating. We went early for breakfast and lunch when at sea so we got seated at the best table for two right by the long windows upstairs in the Grand Dining room. Overall the quality of food was good.

Everyone who works on the ship is very friendly. The kitchen galley tour led by one of the head chefs was great fun, with champagne served. We also liked the podium talks on the Caribbean and the talks on how the ship works given by the officers.

Cabin Review

Inside cabin on the 8th level was more spacious than the NCL cabin with lots of closet space. Flat screen TV had multiple cable channels. It was noisy only on the last night, when the luggage was moved in the middle of the night.
