Our background: Husband and wife in mid-20's from Vancouver, WA. Cruised previously with Disney in Bahamas and Carnival in Mexican Riviera, both balcony cabins.

We arrived in Barcelona 3 days prior and stayed at Hotel Jazz. It was easy to get to on the Aerobus, although the tickets ended up higher than anticipated at 5.05 euro pp. The hotel was able to check us in when we arrived at 10 a.m. and the room was very spacious with a great tub/shower. If you enjoy walking, EVERYTHING in Barcelona is walkable. We budgeted for taxis and public transportation to get to the sites, but never needed them. If you ever want to use the restroom on your walk, find a McDonalds for a free one. Read more
