My daughter (age 43) who lives in Florida and myself (age 69) from Pennsylvania decided to do a mother/daughter cruise and thought this would be ideal.

I flew from Pittsburgh to Orlando Oct. 29 and stayed overnight with our daughter, who lives in the Orlando area.

Since Miami was our port-of-call, we drove to Fort Lauderdale and stayed there Saturday evening, then drove to Miami the next day, which was about a 45-minute drive. My brother lives in Fort Lauderdale and had a chance to visit with him. We stayed at the Best Western in Oakland Park (close to Fort Lauderdale). Motel was older, but the rooms had just been remodeled and were very clean. Great rate! Only $72/night. Highly recommend it!

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Cabin was very small/crowded. Balcony was in bad shape (paint chipped, carpet very worn, chairs not very comfortable). Need more television channels (major networks like CBS, NBC and/or ABC). Need electrical outlet in bathroom area.
