We embarked on the Explorer of the Seas 10/28-11/7. First, let me say, Cape Liberty is a nightmare. One entrance admitting 3100+ passengers is CRAZY. Prepare to wait in a long line of traffic and spots at the drop off tent are impossible to find. Once out of the vehicle, the luggage attendants are very efficient and helpful. Disembarking is a bigger nightmare. Cape Liberty needs to revamp the drop off and pick up areas to allow more vehicles and more parking spaces to pull up to.

Explorer of the Seas is a FUN ship. Some areas of the ship could use refurbishing, ie theater seating and cabins need some updating. I hear that is coming soon. The staff is top notch. Sailed twice with Explorer and have never experienced any rudeness with any personnel. They are wonderful!

The food in the Windjammer is OK. Not the best quality: powdered eggs, some stale pastries. The fried egg and omelet station has very long lines. They should add extra personnel at the griddle. People would rather eat that than the rubbery pancakes, waffles, etc. After a few days, I was eating boxed cereal or a bagel.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

interior adjoining rooms...small but efficient. Lots of hidden storage and RC make use of every nook and cranny. Room attendants are GREAT!!!
