The Radiance of the Sea was indeed Radiant...

It's true,She is an "older" ship according to the modern marvel "super liners" being built, but she is a classy lady.

We have cruised with Carnival in the past and wanted to try another cruise line for this trip. The dear husband and I were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary and were traveling without our children. We were thrilled to get a great deal on a balcony stateroom. Our itinerary lead us to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

OUR location [8588] was the best on the ship in our opinion...large balcony, great view couldn't ask for better. Close to elevators, but quiet. Easy to find.

Middle of the ship. Quick access to main entertainment areas, if the elevators were full, it was easy to take the stairs without too much exertion. Balcony was fabulous, the roof of the floor above overhung and protected from rain and elements. Some noise from lobby bands but they didn't play after 10-11 pm.
