Had a blast there.. we actually go to go twice due to Hurricane Richard 
The first time was shopping - took a taxi to the end of Downtown - was like 7 bucks. went to little shops off the main strip - got great deals plus shots of tequila at each one. Most shops had the same thing in each of them but they are very proud of their businesses. I found they took much pride in them. Went to a place to eat (the tiki hut- it was up stairs )- a guy on the street handed us a free margarita coupon. BUT beware cute place to eat and the food was okay but the margarita was watered down and we were charged for the margaritas. we ordered a small bowl of guacamole, a small tortilla soup and 6 very small margaritas. was like $35. Crazy - it wasn't worth it. 
We keep walking and found a wonderful.. I mean wonderful little bar. it was small and kinda alone on the main strip. had Coronas 2 for $3. We loved it there. Had small tables and tall tables - but the best part was around the bar was swings - huge ropes and a wooded plank seat. At the end was a two seater. We had the most fun there. She made the best margarita. No premixed anything. I wish we had this bar at home. 
I would say if you wanna shop and get the best bargains - then don't shop the commercial shops in the port - branch out and see the real shops. 



Cozumel

Montego Bay Roatan.... Beautiful port. We decided we wanted to see the real island. We hired a taxi to show us as much of the island as possible. It was like $60 for us both for the day. We got to see so much of the island. Our Driver Carlos did not speak very much English. But he took excellent care of us. We drove up and down little washed out roads. Saw the most beautiful sites to take scenic pictures. But we also saw the real Rotan.Which was what we wanted. We ended up on a beach front bar with our driver - that never left our side. Was a wonderful experience on this little island. I am glad we didn't do any excursions but what we did was perfect for us and was everything that we wanted. 


Montego Bay

on this trip to Cozumel - we did do an excursion. we booked a tour of the Mayan ruins and a beach. It was worth the $50 per person fee Alex was our tour guide and he was funny and very good at bringing Mayan life to you. Had a wonderful time and the beach was beautiful. The beach resort that we went to had the best tacos that I had ever eaten. Nothing like we are use to in the states. 


loved our room... we had plenty of space. plenty of closet and drawers. only wish they had a small refrigerator in the room.  Rooms were always neat and tidy. ( thanks Patu !!!!)

Would I go on the Triumph again - Yes

Best 2 suggestion: Get the balcony - it was so worth the extra money.go to the little coffee /dessert bar that is right past the casino and try that cake that has the little white chocolate tunnel around it.
