We did a tequila seminar at Mr Sancho's, which was a repeat experience for two of our party. This year was even better than the first time we did it! The manager, Oliver, is a true authority on all things tequila, and in addition to having many samples of tequila we also learned a lot. Fantastic time, and I highly recommend it! We docked at a different pier than I have on previous visits, and I prefer the shopping district we usually dock at. This section (closer to the Carnival pier) just seemed a bit more sketchy. The taxis, however, were much improved from our last visit, in that they were newer vehicles, driven better and with working speedometers. :-) If you try the tequila seminar you'll be directed to Cozumel Watersports to book - save your receipt and bring it with you. They never bothered to inform Mr Sancho's we were coming, although Mr Sancho's setup for us immediately upon showing our receipt and we had no real delay to our start time. 


Cozumel

We booked an all-inclusive package through Island Marketing and were assigned to a club call Nohoch Kay, which was amazing! They limit their capacity to 40 people per day, so the service is exceptional. Included were all your drinks, all your food, use of chaise lounges under palapas, and use of non-motorized water toys (rafts, hobie cats, and kayaks). Himie, the manager, could not do enough for us, and everyone there was friendly and helpful. Two thumbs way up! I'd rate Costa Maya a 5, but getting to the village of Mahahual, where Nohoch Kay was, was disconcerting. Basically you walk through the shopping village at the pier, head down an alley, buy $3pp taxi tickets, then get on the bus and wait. Once the bus is full enough they head out to Mahahual, where they drop you off in one central location and leave you to find your beach resort. It didn't take too long, but it wasn't confidence-inspiring. Still, and amazing day! 


Costa Maya

* Stateroom - My inside stateroom was more than adequate, with the exception that every time I took a shower I flooded the entire bathroom.I felt they could have stacked activities a bit better so you didn't end up with odd chunks of free time, and I did find myself with more unoccupied time on the Radiance than the Disney Magic.
