We arrived the day before departure and stayed at The Harbor House. They couldn't have been nicer and the room was wonderful. We faced the harbor and saw the Conquest dock.

We went to the check in at 10:30 and got right into the waiting area where the employees entertained the children and kept us occupied while waiting. We got on the ship by 11:30 and got into our room at 1:30. We ate on the Lido deck. I was very impressed that we did not encounter one employee on the Conquest that didn't have a smile and tried very hard to please everyone. The dinner staff remembered our name and the cabin staff did to. They tried to please in every way they could. We are gamblers and it was our 30th wedding anniversary and the casino gave us a free dinner for two at the steak house and wine. We have traveled on Carnival many times and I have to say the employees on this cruise have been the best....

I wasn't very impressed with some of the excursions we chose but we chose them so it is our responsibility. We should have done the water things instead of the shopping. Jamaica was drizzling rain so the water wasn't pretty and poverty is sad and the shopping wasn't very good for us. Cayman Island also was drizzling so the water wasn't very pretty but we went on the submarine and we were very disappointed. In Cozumel the weather was great and the water was fabulous. The tour was not very good and the tour driver was obviously getting a kick back from where we were going but I understand that the poverty is something they have to deal with and they do what they have to do but next time we will rent a taxi or get a jeep and do our own thing.

We thought our room was very nice. We had a balcony on the 7th floor and everything went very smoothly. Our cabin stewart, Mark, was very nice and always tried to please.
