To thank my 2 daughters for all they have done for me, I chose to take them on a cruise for their birthdays which are both in October. My only mistake was choosing NCL.
I am a very experienced cruiser. My husband and I are Diamond Members on Royal Caribbean. We usually do two to three cruises a year. But after talking to the NCL representatives I thought I should try that line. Believe me when I say, if this had been my first cruise experience, it would have been my last.
First off when we got to our room, I had to dust the shelves near the balcony in order to place my clothing on them because there was 1/8th of an inch dust on them. Then one of my daughters went to get a drink of water from the bathroom sink only to find dried toothpaste encrusted on the glass.
Since there were 3 adult women the room was a little cramped. For 2 it would have been fine, space wise. It wasn't taken care of very well, dusty, dirty glasses, not always filling ice bucket, expired items in the refrigerator. The shower was nice.
