We just booked another Caribbean cruise so decided I should probably write about our last Western Caribbean trip! Husband and I have both been around the world, traveled lots and need to say we had a BLAST on this ship. Embarkation was a snap, and I do mean a SNAP. I bet it didnt take us 15 minutes in line before we were checked in and told to go upstairs on the ship to have lunch! We met with a bunch of folks who were on Libertys Roll Call, Carnival arranged for us to have a party room with drinks and snacks for an hour (Meet and Greet) so we could all visit in person.

We enjoyed the food at the buffet, the omelette station in the morning was excellent. The buffet was never crowded, in fact the ship NEVER felt crowded. I wondered where they hid everybody?? A wide choice of yogurts, fruits, cheese, etc. We ate at Harrys Supper Club one night and it is the only time in my life I couldnt finish my lobster. HUGE! We ate at the dining room most evenings and really enjoyed not only the food but the fun entertainment when the waiters would drop what they were doing and do a cute dance! The place setting was really pretty.

My husbands favorite thing was ordering rare steak sandwiches at 2a.m. He really got such a kick out of that. I would order a pot of decaf and sit out on the balcony watching the moon dance on the waves, unreal beauty. Our little "house gnome" as my husband fondly called her was a complete doll! We would leave for breakfast only to come back to a completely tidy room, shoes all lined up, etc. We started to put up the "do not disturb" sign so we could get our room comfortably messed up. I think she slept under our bed and knew the minute we left!

Cabin Review

We had the L shaped room with the extended balconies on the left hand side of the ship, enjoyed the space very much. NO noise but daughter who was on the right side of the ship had music drifting up until midnight most nights. Other than that, nice cabins!
