Sail Date: Oct 2010
Cabin: Balcony

Sailed on the Epic 10-9-10 with 3 other couples. We upgraded to a balcony 2 weeks prior to sailing hoping it would be a lot larger than an inside cabin. Wrong, it was the smallest balcony room we've ever had and the funky design left little room to navigate with another person. The wavy layout actually took away space and the separate shower and toilet are not very private!

The Garden Cafe had a wonderful wide variety of food at their expansive buffet and with 4100 passengers, we never had to wait long in line anytime during the week. Cagney's was great, as always, but Shanghai Chinese was just OK. We personally had a bad experience at La Cucina. The steak and pork meals we ordered came out with the meat tough and grizzly and we were not charged. Both Taste and Manhattan restaurants were also good along with O'Sheehans.

Entertainment was GREAT. Blue Man was fantastic and we went to Howl at the Moon twice. Musicians at the bars were also good. The casino is huge, only real drawback is the smoking, both my husband and I couldn't stay in that environment too long.

Balcony

Cabin BE

Great storage and closets, quiet location, sink problem fixed, our balcony jutted out more than the balconys above which prevented privacy.
