Well just did 5-days on the Destiny and it was fantastic. Of course the views expressed are my opinion hopefully one will be able to determine fact versus opinion.
We used United Airport Parking for the saving but judging by one gentleman's reaction at the port the other reason to use them in Miami is you don't care where they dock the ship. Seems we did not return to the same terminal.
Day 1: we arrived at the terminal approximating 11:30 after having the DW fill out the health questionnaire for both of us so they could read it we were at the kiosk in about 15 minutes then picking up our Sail & Sign card about 5 minutes later. We were heading up the escalator just a few minutes past noon. The Lido deck was crowded at the main stations. People seemed to over look Happy Valley (Stir fry on the Starboard side) as well as the New York Deli (on the Port side) on the way to the main buffer as well as the pizzeria and grill in the adult pool area. The fire doors opened exactly at 1:30 as promised.
The cabin being midship we had great access to stairs and elevators with the exception of some younger passengers who one day were being loud in the hall very quiet. In fairness when I stuck my head in the hall they looked at me and understood they were being loud. I once suffered being a man in my twenties so how upset can I be?
We were both amazed at the amount of storage space
The balcony was great
We have a memory foam mattress at home so we found the mattress a bit hard for our taste extra firm but I rather have that than too soft
