Sail Date: Sep 2010

The cruise was our ruby wedding present to us. We could not fault the service or organisation of the cruise. The breakfasts and lunches were to our taste and we found the evening dinner large enough after sampling several of the puddings at lunch. We were placed on second sitting for the evening meal and this we found was rather late at 8.30pm. However, the service was efficient.

We found the frequent stops interesting in that if there was not enough time to walk around the port and surrounding area the loading and unloading of goods was fascinating.

Unfortunately the high number of smokers was very unpleasant for non-smokers and for those of us who have breathing problems - caused by secondary smoking. The 'rules' of the ship clearly state that smoking on deck while in port was not allowed but this was ignored by the smokers and not enforced by the crew.

Cabin Review

Small but adequate with sufficient storage. Good location near an exit. Clean.
