I should mention that my husband and myself have cruised with many other lines and this is by far the worse cruise I have had. It was a 16 night western mediterannean cruise from Southampton on the Celebrity Eclipse.

First thing that struck me was the lack of a British electric socket in cabin, we weren't told that this would be the case. We would have liked to catch up on some Sports scores on English TV, but only American television was available with their sports. The sun bed space on such a large ship was terrible, with everyone packed in like sardines, whilst the much vaunted "Lawn Club" was virtually empty (it would have made more sense to have that space for sun beds).

We generally spent our time on deck on the top sun deck, as we usually do on board other liners. There was no service there at all by bar staff and when we enquired were told it was too windy to serve drinks! Hello - all decks at the top are windy. Sun beds were not all put out but left for passengers to untie and put out themselves, some passengers were very elderly and had a lot of trouble wrestling with them.
