Left Barcelona on Sept 19 for 12 night Western Med cruise on Celebrity Century with stops in Tuscany, Rome, Salerno, Venice, Dubrovnik, Provence, and back to Barcelona.

Century is an older medium size ship with 900 staterooms but was recently refurbished to the tune of $55 million. Our stateroom was on the 9th deck midship and we never really felt much, if any, ship motion. Stateroom was fairly roomy with two closets and lots of space for belongings. Two twin beds fitted together. Bathroom was comfortable with a fairly large shower (two people can fit in it easily). We had a nice veranda where we enjoyed room-service breakfast each morning and pre-dinner cocktails.

Service on the ship was fantastic. Both the stateroom attendant and the restaurant waiter offered outstanding service. The ship has all the amenities anyone could want. Specialty restaurant, Murano, costs $35 per person extra but is worth one dinner there. We had two formal nights and I rented a tux but only about 5% of the guests wore a tux, the rest in suits or sport coats.
