We have just returned from a two week cruise from Venice to the Greek Islands, Croatia and Turkey. I travelled with my husband, teenage son and parents who had previously cruised with NCL. This was our seventh cruise and first (and last) with NCL.
On our first night we dined in the Grand Pacific dining room. The meal was very salty and inedible. Three out of five meals were untouched. On other cruise lines, the waiter would have asked for feedback on the meal, we experienced nothing of this after service, to the extent that our waitress disappeared and we were left abandoned at our table. After a lengthy amount of time we left the dining room and went to the buffet for desert.
The following morning, we thought we would try the Magenta dining room for breakfast. Our breakfast experience, would have made a wonderful Faulty Towers episode. We struggled to get a cup of tea, despite numerous staff offering coffee. I asked for cereal, which arrived after a long delay, without milk. After a further 10 minutes we informed a waiter that the we were still waiting for milk to serve with the cereal, who just tutted in response. She later returned with a mug of milk, which was poured into my cereal. The milk for our tea was retrieved from the leftover from another table. Good job we have a sense of humour.
Fair size cabin with limited storage space for any more than two. Shower was good size.
