Arrived in San Juan the day of departure around 2:00pm - gathered our luggage, arrived taxi at the port by taxi within the hour. I would not recommend doing any transfers with the ship as it cost $19.00 plus $1.00 per bag for up to 5 people for a taxi. Better than the $16.75 per person transfer fee. Checkin was a breeze as we left our luggage at the door, checked in and was in the Windjammer by 3:30pm. Our only complaint was the staff here was not very friendly. Which we informed RCCL about.

Stateroom - Cabin #7140 - We were a little disappointed with the cabin as it sits at the canopy which covers the life boats and the balconies do not connect as in the newer ships. Our view was good only if you were interested in looking straight out. Nothing to see by looking down. We couldn't enjoy the balcony as it seemed everytime we would try someone was smoking (which is NOT ALLOWED) but couldn't tell where it was coming from to report it. Our stateroom attendant was very attentive. He was very easily located when we needed him. We had towel animals 5 of the 7 nights. Air temperature was always comfortable. The room was located at the rear of the ship just a short walk from the elevators and dining areas. Luckily it seemed we had the best views to see the ports as we arrived.

Dining - We took advantage of the Reflections My Time Dining and chose the 6:45 seating. They always had our table waiting with the same staff. Our waiter Biju and assistant waiter Moo were super! We could not have asked for better. Biju was on his last two weeks before heading home and still was very attentive and ready to get us anything we needed. Moo has an incredible voice and we got to enjoy it several times, including a birthday song. The food was about average as far as mass production goes. Very good variety on the menus. You are offered an after dinner drink everynight.
