Did the smart thing and got into Ft Lauderdale a day early. Arrived at 1:00 and went to Bahia Mar. Older hotel, but very nice considering it's age. DH and I spent the remainder of the afternoon at the pool. Went out to dinner away from the tourist areas at an Irish pub that locals frequent. I used to live there for 10 years, so it helps to still know where to go when you don't want something on 17th street or the strip. Embarkation: arrived @ 11:00. From bag-drop to Windjammer in about 30 minutes. When it's that short of a wait, I don't think I need to say more.

Food: So-so. I knew it would be. I'm not huge on food. If my steak is cooked right and the nachos eaten by the pool are to the satisfaction of the wife, then we're happy enough with it. Food is fuel for fun. It all tasted really good. I did miss a visit to Chops like on our trip on Enchantment a couple years ago, but that's no big deal. We'll go the next time we head to sea.

Cabin: Starboard side toward the rear (7622). Very clean, plenty of storage, had a balcony which was used quite a bit, and our cabin steward Oscar was really friendly and helpful. Every time we saw him he was nothing but smiles and laughs. Great Job!
