First time back on NCL since 2006. I've never liked the Port Canaveral/Bahamas itinerary but we had done back to back Miracle cruises to the same spots and decided to try a new ship. We were not disappointed.

Embarkation took forever. I believe we stood in line for over an hour. That was tough on two of the five of us (one knee replacement, the other needs one). After handing over the credit card and getting our keycard we immediately boarded. YEAH!

You walk into the Java cafe area when boarding. At first glance, when you're used to the grand atrium area on board Miracle, it seems bland. At second glance it is really quite beautiful. We were immediately greeted by NCL staff who told us our cabins would be ready at 2 and to enjoy lunch either upstairs at the buffet or down one floor at Tsars. We chose Tsars. Started lunch out with a goat cheese and pancetta quiche, baked tilapia and a peach cobbler for dessert. Delicious glass of pinot grigio and I was set. Hubby had a pea soup he absolutely loved followed by some type of sandwich and for dessert he had another pea soup. He looked for it for the rest of the week and it wasn't on any of the dinner menus.

Bathroom too small. Knees hit the wall when you sit on the toilet. Had to open door to be able to fully extend arms to towel off from the shower. Shower door is great. Could use a few more shelves in the bathroom. Closet ample space. Like the combination safe. Bed area a bit tight but manageable
