Sail Date: Jan 2025
Antigua port entry, very scenic area.
Bird Island, Antigua. We snorkeled near a reef and then went to the beach (catamaran was beached for access).
San Juan - Mofongo with a chicken stew over it. Very, very flavorful and quite filling!
Large fort guarding the entry to San Juan harbor.
Example of the type of catamaran we used on both snorkeling excursions (Barbados and Antigua).
Streets of old San Juan.
San Juan still dressed up for Christmas.
A typical, large group snorkeling experience. Lots of people, no turtles...
Puerto Rico Governor's mansion from the water on the way out of San Juan.

Just OK, to be honest. We picked this itinerary to see some parts of the Caribbean we hadn't visited - stops included Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Barbados, Antigua, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and Great Stirrup Cay.

First - the ship. The most recent refresh I could find online was 2023, but the ship does not look like a recently updated ship. Stained carpet, exposed seams, rust - not typical of other NCL ships we have enjoyed.

The staff was polite, friendly, attentive. Overworked - as most NCL ships these days. Continuing cost cutting measures seem to be snipping away at services and efficiency. It is not the staff's fault and we made sure to let them know we appreciated their efforts. This is a corporate issue.
