Anticipate crowding when you first embark especially in the buffet. They moved embarkation along nicely with the online boarding paperwork

Norwegian started with a policy of threatening to cancel the booking with any additions not paid for at the time of online boarding registration. I've seen this from other cruise critic reviews. Meaning they offer you all kinds of options for drink packages, paying your room charges etc and when my son clicked the wrong credit card we were at risk for his room being cancelled. When we left the ship a woman was stopped from disembarking for a penny owed on her online account.

Other policies were ignored such as a minimal dress code for the formal dining rooms which ruined the ambiance and felt like dining in a greyhound bus terminal. Avoid the Manhattan room, its very noisy and the service was not good. I realized too late that this was set up for larger tables. The general dining food was fair at best, the new daily selections were limited to one or two appetizers/entrees. If you are interested in good food the specialty restaurants are essential to your experience.
