Background - This was our 5th cruise. It was a family vacation for my husband, son (22,) daughter, and son-in-law. We enjoyed a great week of sightseeing in Washington DC before we headed for the port of Baltimore and the cruise.

Hotel Info. We stayed at the Admiral Fell Inn, in Fells Point, before and after the cruise. They offer a Park and Cruise package, that included complimentary car service to the port and free breakfast. It's a quaint historic inn, comprised of 8 buildings melded together dating from 1790 to 1990. Excellent service, nice rooms if a little small. Very personal and attentive help from the front desk. The Fell's Point area is very picturesque, the inner harbor ferry stop is right there. There are interesting little shops and streets to explore. We had a late night dinner at Shuckers, right on the harbor, a cool place to relax in the heat wave that was going on. The free breakfast venue is a pretty little bistro, Meli, on their first floor. They offer a free "Haunted Hotel" ghost tour on the weekend and tell you about the history of the hotel, the ghosts that supposedly live there, etc. Quite fun.

I will say though, that the parking arrangements at the port looked excellent. The lot is right at the pier, very large, although not covered. I believe the cost is $15 day. So that would be a good alternative if you were driving in.

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

Love it - close to elevators, but no noise- balcony was not windy. Loads of closet space.
