Cruise on the Inspiration

We decided several months ago to go on the Inspiration with some friends. Our background is 12 cruises on several lines, 5 previous on Carnival (this is the newest Carnival ship we have been on). Our friends were first time cruisers. Due to financial reasons we booked a category 1A with the anticipation of being upgraded and our friends booked with a friend's part. They were give a 3 category upgrade and we weren't, so much for the past passenger mystique.

Our cabin had upper and lower berths but the room steward brought in a roll away which worked. The category 1A was larger than some of the other rooms we have had on other cruise lines. Our dinner reservations were messed up and the staff QUICKLY resolved them. Overall the ship's staff rates an A+ for service.
