For my hubby & I I think it was too big. The public areas do have the wow factor however if you are looking for a little peace & quiet this was not the sailing to find it. I'll break this review down into sections: Embarkation - one word, slick, arrived at the dock gate @ 11.45 am, parked the car & were sat in the Windjammer with a cup of tea in hand by 12.40. Allowed to our rooms at 1pm & our cases were already wating. Well done RCI.
Room - Balcony stateroom for 3, hubby, myself & son of 17.5 yrs. I was a little nervous about the sofa bed (son is 6'4") but my fears were unfounded, it was a great size & comfortable according to my son. Room was a good size with plenty of storage. Balcony also a good size but with limited privacy due to the semi opaque dividers. 2 chairs & a small table was provided however there was enough room, in my opinion, for more comfortable chairs & a bigger table. Bathroom adequate size for one person & shower was surprisingly powerful. Bar soap & shampoo were provided. Our room was maintained to a very high standard thanks to our room steward Michael.
Deck - 7, this deck appeared to suffer from a smell problem, I have a sensitive nose for smells but it could do with a blast of fresh air through it! Our cabin was near the crew service area but never heard a banging door or any noise....now the neighbours, that's a different matter!
Great balcony but could be furnished more imaginatively.
Hidden storeage space, look more closely.
Bizarre smells along the corridor, deck 7.
