This was our first Carnival cruise, and the first with kids (11 and 9). We elected to eat at the Lido Buffet for the trip, I didn't want to have to pack extra nice clothes for the restaurant, and the food was "ok". I've been on other cruises in the past where the buffets are loaded with so many different types of food. The Lido buffet had 4 lines, I believe and it was all the same thing. The times that the other food areas are open are strange. The Guys burger joint was only open 12p - 6p and the line as ALWAYS ridiculous long-30 - 45 minute wait. Why would you only have it open until 6pm? The taco bar was only open from 12pm - 6pm also..........

There was only 1 pool for the kids to go in and it definitely wasn't big enough to accommodate the amount of children on the boat but it was closed half the time anyway. There was one ping pong table, which is fine, but the ball was broken and was never replaced with a new one, unless someone kept breaking them? We are not sure. The sport deck closed at 5:30pm. Why? The movie selection was "ok". It also felt like everything we did we had to stand in line after line. The ship just seemed crowded. Too many people and not enough space, especially on the sea day.

Our room was nice. We always had fresh towels and they made the bed everyday. The service in the bars was great also. Everyone was polite and happy. Everything on the ship was clean and in good shape.
