Having thoroughly enjoyed 2 cruises on Celebrity Reflection last year, we confidently booked 3 Mediterranean cruises on the Equinox for this year. Overall we were slightly disappointed.

The ship felt a little tired, for example all the tub chairs we sat on in the Sky Lounge mysteriously had a quite prominent lump in the seat pad, and they didn’t feel stable, and we did try hard to find any that did not. As the Sky Lounge is one of our favourite places on the ship, this did impact our overall enjoyment. We mentioned it to an officer who came around and after trying a chair, he said he would report it.

Our towels were not changed unless we left them on the floor, even after 3 uses, nor were the used ones ever tidied on the rail. Small detail, but we have not experienced this on over 25 Celebrity cruises and the effect was not attractive to come back to.
