First time on Celebrity after sailing Royal and Carnival through our kids younger years. Looked forward to a grown up experience and better food. The grown up experience was delightful, but the food was horrible. I can’t emphasize enough how horrible the standard food was from the Oceanview Cafe to the Silhouette Main Dining. We ate off ship as much as possible and booked THREE speciality dinners (something we never do!). All the bars except pool bar were superb and served well-poured drinks. We didn’t do the package and spent about $800 total on drinks while drinking pretty liberally. Drinks ranged from $10 beer to $20 martinis. Felt like the drinks were overpriced to drive you to the package. Remember you’re off the ship a lot and local beer was €3.50 - €8. Rooms were spacious. Shore excursions were overpriced, but we really enjoyed most of the tour operators especially Turkey.

Great cruise except for the food and drink prices. However, the food experience was so bad we won’t cruise Celebrity again.

Port Reviews

Did an off cruise Catamaran tour through Viator. Right by cruise port. Highly recommend. Spent rest of day walking Mykonos. Best day!

Did Best of Ephesus through Celebrity. Tour operator was incredible. Felt safe the entire time. We passed on a free excursion from our agent to do the one with Mary’s house visit.

Did the on your own tour to get off the ship early because this was a tender location. Bus to Oia then we hiked to Fira on our own later. Highly recommend the hike if able! Great views.
