We thoroughly enjoyed our seven night Mediterranean cruise on Crystal Symphony. We had some trepidation about the age of the ship, but the public areas and our suite were in pristine condition. The crew is experienced and polished, and they do everything possible to ensure that passengers have an enjoyable cruise.

There were about 500 passengers on this cruise. This was perfect, as the public venues were lively but not crowded. Most passengers were 70+, and they were upbeat, energetic and friendly.

Our aquamarine veranda cabin (2017 refresh) was beautifully decorated in neutral tones, and the separate shower, walk in closet, vanity and desk made it very comfortable. Our butler Akash was first rate. He handled laundry and pressing, served breakfast and drinks, and granted our every wish. Prior to this cruise, we weren't sure what we would do with a butler, but by the end of it, we weren't sure how we would live without him. Our suite attendant Marina was also excellent. We appreciated that she quickly found our luggage when it was delivered to the wrong suite on embarkation day.
