We felt we got everything we expected (and indeed, wanted). Embarkation and disembarkation was efficient. We had to wait for our room as they were doing a deep clean due to illness on board. P&O staff were doing a good job of maintaining hygiene standards throughout our week.

Our cabin was spacious and we loved the layout and mirrors! The cabin bathroom is a bit tired. Shower cabin needed replacing really. It was clean and the cabin steward was very accommodating when we asked for things.

Food was good (ate mostly in MDR), tiny gripe... Desserts were almost always room temperature (pannacottas etc). Such a shame as the food was great. Cocktails and wines were reasonably priced and table service was usually pretty fast. Used room service once and had to chase it up (25 minutes late). We travelled with a person who is Coeliac and they were amazing with GF! Well done on taking dietary requirements seriously!

Port Reviews

Cherbourg

We did the museum/aquarium which is literally a few steps from the port terminal. We then hopped onto the shuttle for a short trip into Cherbourg. We stopped for a coffee (reasonably priced). Cute central square.
