Do your homework before booking with MSC. There are more things that are wrong or bad than there are good. This ship is stunning and the areas that we went to on the ship were very clean.

- Cabin was nice at the very back of the ship, which was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, there was the usual kettle, tea, coffee, large flat screen TV, drawers, shelves, safe, small table that tucks under the dressing table and a sofa. The wardrobe is a bit small, the only down side about that was the wardrobe has no handles so if you have nails on or arthritis it might be a bit difficult to open. The bathroom is a good size for a cruise ship, the shower is fantastic but most importantly it was kept very clean. I would also mention that the balcony was a good size but - the chairs don't allow you to properly sunbathe on your balcony, the back of the chair only comes half way up your back and does not recline, not very comfortable if you want to escape the crowds and have some quiet time.

- The shops in the main plaza are not geared up for affordable purchases. The perfume shop was well stocked and always busy. There are so many watch shops, not much in the way of jewellery shops and what was there was vastly overpriced. The boutique was always empty and again overpriced. All of the eateries in the plaza were at an extra charge.

Visited the area in the north of the Island that has the Lava tubes. Very enjoyable and would recommend.
