Cabin Ultra Deluxe Veranda with third person sofa bed out in living room.
Rust and soot on aft veranda
Crew farewell.

Elite Plus member after just 7 cruises with Celebrity. This was our eight Celebrity cruise from MIA to LAX through the Panama Canal for 14 nights. Occupied an Ultra Deluxe Veranda on the aft corner of ship ship. These are the old Family Veranda cabins.

As others have described Terminal G in Miami is past its use by date, but embarkation was swift and without any problems. The terminal reflected the condition of the ship which at over 20 years old is definitely showing its age despite the refit in 2019. A lot of rust, worn carpets and broken deck furniture. Cabin was in reasonable condition but the large terrace needed a lot of maintenance and was constantly covered in soot.

Ship was full with an average age of over 75 years - a lot of walkers, scooters and wheelchairs etc. Over 90% from the USA. A few from Canada, UK, Europe and Australia/New Zealand.
